Kettu was a Christmas surprise to my niece when she was 15 years old. While he loves to show and travel, he loves his girl and puts her to bed every night he's home. He adores attention and begs to be swarmed by half dozen school kids or an entire marching band. In 2019 my niece and him left for college. He visits frequently and still comes to stay during show season.
As for his accomplishments he has surpassed anything I had hoped. In 2018 he was the first Canadian National Specialty Best in Show winner to come from the class dogs and win. During 2019 he became the #1 owner handled Finnish Lapphund and received group placements.
February 9, 2020 Our first time to Westminster Dog Show, Kettu defeated the 2019 top 4 Finnish Lapphund in the country winning Best of Breed.
"Tihku" Tihku currently lives with a dear friend, Pat, about 5 minutes away. She has brought so much joy to Pat's family.
Liz Mowatt, a dear friend and breeder in the UK, brought Tihku over from Finland. After some unforeseen circumstances and Liz could no longer keep her. Knowing that I loved Tihku and her parents she asked if I had the perfect home for her. I did.
Needless to say Tihku is very spoiled being an only dog with humans and kids to dote on.

Ginny is the sweetest girl. She is a peacemaker and smart girl who goes with the flow. We found by accident that she is a natural for nosework and loves it. At a year and half , Lisa Quibell approached me about needing a dog like Ginny for a demo dog at her training facility. While I loved her dearly and it was very hard to let her go, I didn't want to deny Ginny the chance to be a working dog. She is so special and deserves the opportunity to shine. Since becoming a AKC champion, Lisa and she have focused on her nose work.
Emma lives in Washington state in a huge home with lots of yard to run around. She has several lappy siblings and fills her days with play. Emma has a splash of sass to her and loves a good butt rub.
Jo, MysticalMagic Finnish Lapphunds, approached me about co owning Emma. I couldn't turn her down. Her husband fell in love with Emma when she was a puppy, and she has become a complete daddy's girl.
Treya is a cute sassy Colorado girl. She lives with a dear friend, Donna Payne with Lorrmic Finnish Lapphunds, who wanted to steal Tiia, Treya's aunt. When the opportunity came that I would be able to bring a puppy home from Liz, who was just like her aunt, I called Donna to see if she was interested in co-owning. She said yes and the rest is history.
Treya quickly ruled the house and the two lappy boys she lives with, Kuju and Keelo. She is a busy girl who enjoys FastCat, Conformation, Obedience, and tricks. PRA: Clear Pompe: Clear DM: Clear PennHip: RT .35/ LT .36 ANKC: 5/5
I fell in love with Journey's father years ago. When Nanda told me she was breeding Twizy to him it was an instant response "can I have a puppy?" I was super excited to bring her home and have her a part of my breeding program. Unfortunately I couldn't keep her with me, but my friend and new breeder, Katelyn Wensel with Katydid Finnish Lapphunds, was looking for a good foundation bitch. She matched exactly what she was looking for and I couldn't have asked for a better home.
Journey does everything with Katelyn. She enjoys FastCat, Agility, Conformation, Scent work, Tricks. At home she is a complete daddies girl and prefers talking and snuggling with Erik.
